We’ve all been there. You just finished applying a beautiful eyeshadow look that you love, and all you have left to do is add mascara to complete the look.

But instead, you end up smearing mascara on your eyelid. Before you freak out, what if I told you it’s very simple and easy to fix your mascara without smearing it all over or ruining your eye makeup?

All you need to do is let the mascara smear dry, then gently remove it with a Q-tip.

To prevent your mascara from smearing in the first place, try gently pulling the skin on the side of your eyes around the temple.

This will create more space between your lashes and your eyelid, giving you more room to apply your mascara without touching your eyelid.
